2. Information we collect when you contact us

We may collect personal information about you when you contact us by telephone, email, or via social media, such as name and contact details.

When we refer to Personal Information in this Privacy Policy, we are talking about both Order Information and Device Information.

We use the Order Information that we collect to fulfill orders placed through the Site or directly with us by telephone, email or other communication, which includes processing your payment information, shipping, order confirmation and invoices. Additionally, we use this information to:

  • Screen our orders for potential risk of fraud
  • Communicate with you
  • Provide you with information or promotions relating to our products and services, in line with your preferences.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (e.g. your IP address), to enable you to add products to our shopping cart (if you’re having difficulties, check whether you have cookies disabled), and to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics on how numbers of customers browse and interact with our Site), and to assess the success of our marketing campaigns.

We share information such as your name, contact details and shipping address with our couriers (such as DHL or Parcelforce) to fulfil your order.

All payments are processed by our payment gateway provider and online terminal (currently Sagepay), which will verify payments and assess payment details against the risk of fraud. Factors looked at by Sagepay include IP address and location. Zsig does not have access to Site payment details such as card numbers.

Device information and Site behaviour as described above is shared with Google Analytics. Your use of our Site is represented by a randomly generated number given to the individual instance of your device accessing our Site – to be clear, although information such a device’s location is provided to us by Google Analytics, we do not know that it is yours. Google Analytics scrubs the data.
